I fond Kiroro a lot. Who is Kiroro? Kiroro is a duo group that came from Japan, they are very famous on early 90s if you came from my era I bet you’ve heard their song once when we were in high school.

One of their famous song is Mirai-e, I’ll post the viseo on the next post, meanwhile I’d like to share one of their video. It inspired me to stay positive in live.

what is love?

I don’t know how am I supposed to answer this question

They said love could defeat anything, they said that love is something that bind to people together, they said if you love someone you will forgive everything.

I haven’t found my own definition about love, does love that stick me and my boyfriend or because I’m just used with him?Does he feel the same and in the same amount of my love? I don’t know either, everytime I talk to him about this topic he turned him self into anger that’s ridicolous but I have no idea why he did that.

I miss someone that I can’t  reach

someone that always busy with his own business

someone who didn’t think I’m exist

and didn’t realize that he’s my reason to life

I wish I could be his significant other

but it’s just my imagination

and I ask my self

should I try harder or let the world turns?

autocad February 12, 2009

I have a course of bottom founded structure, the main exercise is to design an bottom founded structure (what?) for you who don’t understand it bottom foounded structure is offshore fixed structure. Basically there are 2 types of offshore structure those are fixed and floating.

For a fixed structure you can imagina an electrical tower (but it’s not available in Netherland) drowned in to the sea with a bigger diameter of pile, meanwhile for floating structure it’s a ship-shaped structure with a complicated function to processed the oil.

To deal with the exercise I have to push myself to (again) understand the autocad. I was familiar with the software, somehow once my hand ‘touch’ the autocad again I didn’t get the feeling oh well I think I should get over it and start to deal with it, I wonder whether my library has a dummies book for autocad..

*sigh*

Natural Frequency February 8, 2009

Once I had a class of Dynamics of Structure (one class that I tried so hard to graduate from it) the lecturer told the student about natural frequency. Natural frequency is one frequency on structure when structure could oscillate without any external force.

Our lecturer asked us ‘Why does the structure and surrounds pick certain natural frequency’ some people say because the interaction between the structure and the environmental load, some student say because the damping factor (natural frequency is function of damping and mass) but then the lecturer made an analogy of a man who hired for the job if the workload is same someone must pick a job with better salary.

That’s what happen on all system, he said that every system always try to take advantage from another system, and on certain frequency two or more system interacts so they can absorb more energy form another, that’s why the system choose certain frequency.

I began to think that if every system that has natural frequency always looks for taking advantages of other system especially if the systems had an interaction. If human has their own natural frequency they will look for other human who has same natural frequency so it could maximize the capacity, but is it possible to find something like that? And if it’s possible can we say that soul mate is really exist?

ooo what a project February 5, 2009

I took the course of Offshore wind farm this quarter and today the lecturer explained the the detail about what we should do during the project, instead of giving us the short list and simplify the thing the lecturer told me the details leaves the student not even chance to breathe.

First let’s take a look at the aim of this course, and those are:

•Give an overview of the aspects that play a significant role in designing a wind farm.

•Create understanding of how these aspects influence each other

•Create a realistic view of where offshore wind energy stands as an economic source of energy

•Give you a head start should you wish to work in the offshore wind industry

•Make you offshore wind enthousiasts

Gosh that’s a big expectation.

The project is about the designing of Offshore Wind Farm but not only we have to consider the technical part but also we have to consider social and legal issue, to make the list more complicated they didn’t give us any supported data, they (the lecturers) consider their student to understand all the problem and what should we do with it, and yeah it’s kind of suck especially when you count on search engine like google.

Meantime, they also didn’t give us the procedure and specific time to consulate.

Oh well c’est la vie the show must go on, the job must be done, for better or worse
